SPIRITUAL HEALTH

Spiritual health services seeks to be the bridge that connects your faith and your health. We work cooperatively with churches, organizations and groups with consideration for the faith community you call home.

Spiritual health services provided by the spiritual health team will be initiated only with your permission. Your conversations with us are confidential. We will not contact your church or clergy unless specifically requested to do so.

Parish Nurse
A parish nurse is an experienced registered nurse who has participated in specialized training to minister holistically to individuals and families. A parish nurse clarifies the close relationship between faith and health and how they impact each other.

Chaplain
The Lakewood Health System Chaplain is an ordained, licensed minister and a member of a recognized faith-based organization. Our chaplain has completed clinical pastoral education through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
