Dr. Mennis and his wife Helen have three grown kids: Beverly, David and Kay. Married for more than 50 years, he and his wife love traveling and spending time together in the outdoors doing activities like hunting and fishing. In his free time, Dr. Mennis enjoys his new found hobby, photography.

Dr. Mennis is a family medicine physician at Lakewood Health System who enjoys all ranges of family medicine. Dr. Mennis was recognized in 2008 for 40 years of service with Lakewood.
