Lakewood physicians are not employees of Lakewood Health System, but instead, operate through a Medical Service Agreement (MSA) with Lakewood, known as the Lakewood Clinic PA. Lakewood contracts with the Lakewood Clinic PA to provide clinic medical services for Lakewood upon the terms and conditions outlined in the MSA. The Lakewood Clinic PA will also render such other advisory services in connection with the medical services of Lakewood as may be requested from time to time by the officers or directors of the Lakewood administration and/or board. The Lakewood Medical Staff is made up of physicians who are members of the Lakewood Clinic PA.
