He cares for those with underactive or overactive thyroid glands, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer, as well as those with disorders of the parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pituitary gland and cholesterol issues. He loves teaching patients and has been very active in teaching students and residents over the years.
“It is a privilege to work with patients, and my goals are to help patients heal body, mind and spirit,” said Dr. Moraghan. “I like to get to know patients well, as what happens in their lives affects their health, and their health affects their lives. I like to be thorough, take the time needed to try to get the right diagnosis, right treatment plan, and educate the patients well on their conditions. I try to provide compassion, empathy and hope to the patients. I believe Lakewood is a place that cares about these goals and values and will support me in trying to provide the best care to each patient.”
Dr. Moraghan and his wife, Jill, have five children. They have many dogs and cats and have a love for all animals. As a family, they enjoy sports, and especially tennis. They also love nature, visiting national parks, and going for walks and bike rides. Their faith and a love for music play a big part in their lives.
Dr. Moraghan will see patients in our Browerville and Eagle Bend clinics.
