Kelsey Dockendorf, certified nurse practitioner, joins Lakewood’s family medicine team.
Dockendorf is from Richmond, MN and completed her advanced practice registered nursing degree at the University of North Dakota. She started working as a registered nurse at Lakewood in 2017, after moving to the area from Austin, TX.
As a family medicine provider, Dockendorf will provide care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, for a wide variety of issues and concerns. She will see patients in Lakewood’s Staples clinic.
“Since I’ve worked at Lakewood for the past six years, I am most looking forward to being able to continue caring for the community, but in a different capacity,” said Dockendorf.
Dockendorf has lived in the Staples area for the past seven years. She chose to move to Staples to get back to a small town that is surrounded by nature, as most of her hobbies include being outside. She enjoys running, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, and walking her dog, or just spending time with friends around a bonfire.
