Joshua Klous, family nurse practitioner, is the newest member of the Lakewood Health System Emergency Medicine team. 
Originally from Onamia, MN, Klous received his undergraduate degree from the College of St. Scholastica, and his Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Klous is an advanced practice registered nurse with a special interest in emergency and family medicine, and surgery.
“I am excited to care for people in a smaller community,” said Klous. “I grew up in a small town and live in a farming community, so getting to know people and their families is the most exciting part of serving patients at Lakewood.”
Klous and his wife have three children. As a family, they enjoy traveling, hunting, fishing, riding ATVs and working on their hobby farm. Spending time with family and being active in their church are also an important part of their daily lives.
