Nov. 14, 2025: Lakewood Health System welcomes Dr. Jennifer Heim, obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN), to its women’s health team.
Originally from Harlan, Iowa, Dr. Heim obtained her graduate degree from Mayo Clinic Graduate School and received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Heim is a member of the American College of OB/GYN, the Menopause Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. In addition, Dr. Heim is also a credentialed The Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.
As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Heim specializes in menopause care, abnormal bleeding management, PCOS management, infertility, pregnancy care, cervical cancer screening, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery including tubal sterilization. “I’m excited to be joining Lakewood to partner in providing high-quality, patient-centered medicine. I really appreciate that they are an independent and community-based organization.”
Dr. Heim enjoys exploring Minnesota, biking, boating, reading, running, yoga, and spending time with her family.
