Oct. 24, 2025: Lakewood Health System welcomes Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), Taylor Heck, as the newest provider to its podiatry team.
Originally from Sauk Rapids, MN, Dr. Heck completed his undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University, and received his podiatric degree from Des Moines University. He completed his residency at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Heck belongs to the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Board Podiatric Medicine, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
As a podiatrist, Dr. Heck provides comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients of all ages. He has special interests in limb salvaging and sports medicine. “I chose to come to Lakewood due to familiarity with the facility because I’m from central Minnesota. I wanted to work here in order to give back to those in the area who are in need.”
Dr. Heck and his wife, Aimee, have one dog. In his spare time, Dr. Heck enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking, golfing, cooking, and traveling.
