First Baby of 2024 Born at Lakewood Health System

Jan. 6, 2024: Twenty-twenty-four brings the celebration of birth for Kristina Vosen and Anthony Compton, Little Falls, who welcomed their new baby girl, Iela Ann, into the world on January 3, 2024. Iela was born at 1:32 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 20 inches. She is the couple’s first child.

The delivering provider was Dr. Lindsay Leveille, assisted by registered nurses, Allison Rondestvedt and Jaqualine Peterson. To celebrate Iela’s birth, the Lakewood Health System Foundation and Piecemakers Quilt Club of Staples presented gifts to the family in honor of the new year. The Foundation gave a gift basket prepared by Sprinkle of Joy Boutique of Browerville and the Piecemakers Quilt Club gave a beautiful handmade baby quilt, prepared just for the first baby of 2024.
