Lakewood is a not-for-profit healthcare system whose mission is to provide quality, personalized healthcare for a lifetime. We are also committed to giving back to our local communities through charitable contributions, sponsorships and in-kind gifts to organizations who empower health and improve the well-being of the communities we serve.

Community Sponsorships and Donations
Lakewood will consider requests that serve the residents and patients within our primary service area—including the counties of Todd, Wadena, Morrison, Crow Wing and Cass.
Priority will be given to efforts that demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Improves the health and well-being of those we serve
- Community health education
- Enhances our community
Requests that are not eligible include:
- Individual or family benefits
- Religious or political activities
- For-profit organizations
- Contests or pageants
- Recreational team/individual sponsorships
- Students raising funds for travel to competitions or events
- Requests for employees matching funds
- Trips, tours and transportation
- General operating expenses
- Organizations that deny or limit service, membership or involvement on the basis of race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, ancestry, citizenship, veteran or disability status.
Lakewood asks that all submissions be submitted at least 45 days before the event. An application form must be completed to have your submission reviewed. Incomplete applications will not be considered. We ask that organizations submit only one request per year. We may contact you with specific questions and/or to request additional information if needed. Lakewood reserves the right to consider, accept or reject submissions that fall outside of our guidelines.
Charitable contribution
A monetary gift to non-profits and other organizations whose mission and vision mirror those of Lakewood.
Sponsorship
Financial support of a community event or fundraiser in exchange for Lakewood advertising and/or logo placement.
In-kind donation
Donation of door prizes and/or give-away items to support a community event or fundraiser.
