Amanda and her husband have two kids. They enjoy being active and love sports. Amanda is embracing her role as a “hockey mom” and watching her kids in their activities. She has been a member of the Staples Area Women’s Chorus since 2011. In her spare time, Amanda loves to read and be by the lake in the summertime.
Amanda Mithun is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working in the Reflections Intensive Outpatient Program at Lakewood. Her areas of interest include: geriatrics, mental health issues, systems approach to healing, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and focusing on the importance of caring for the caregiver. Amanda is the Chair of Lakes Area Memory Awareness Advocates, and a member of the MN Alzheimer’s Disease Work Group.
