In her free time, Kirstina enjoys participating in a variety of outdoor activities with family and friends. She strives to embrace many of the opportunities the lakes area offers. She particularly loves spending time at the lake in the summer, whether it’s skiing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the beach with a book. She and her children also enjoy rollerblading, hiking, watching football and hockey, ice skating, skiing, tubing/sledding and riding ATVs.
Medical Interests
Kirstina Quast is a licensed independent clinical social worker. In her practice, she sees children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of emotional and mental health challenges. Her interests include children, adolescents and families who have experienced trauma, attachment disruptions, out of home placement, and/or adoption. This includes working with birth, foster and adoptive parents and families. She is a certified adoption competent therapist by the Center for Adoption Support and Education, and is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Kirstina also has a special interest working with people of all ages experiencing challenges surrounding grief and loss.
