- Blurry vision or change in vision
- Eye pain
- Red eye
- Stye, or a pink lump at the edge of the eyelid

The ophthalmologist may be consulted regarding blepharoplasty (surgery of the eyelid), phacoemulsification (ultrasonic removal of cataracts), and treatment of eye injuries and other diseases of the eye.
