Orthopedic Urgent Care

Lakewood's orthopedic urgent care offers specialized treatment for minor orthopedic injuries and conditions. Patients receive expert care in a timely, convenient setting right in Staples. Patients should enter through Lakewood’s Main Entrance from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday to register for quick, easy access to one of our orthopedic specialists. No appointment or referral necessary! Use the below chart to determine the best place to be seen for your injury.

Orthopedic Urgent Care

  • Simple bone fracture
  • Acute injury with crunchiness when moving or touching
  • Muscle and tendon strain, and ligament and joint sprain
  • Broken collarbone, AC joint sprain, or separated shoulder
  • Torn bicep, tricep, or quadricep tendon
  • Wrist and forearm injury
  • Hamstring injury
  • Lower extremity injury with an inability to put weight on it
  • Sports concussion (headache, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, loss of consciousness)

Emergency Department

  • Visible bone or open wound over the fracture
  • Fractured bone at a severe angle
  • Cuts and/or deep lacerations
  • Injury includes a burn

Urgent Care

  • Cold, flu, and respiratory issues
  • Stomach issues
  • Conditions not related to bones, joints, or muscles
