Mattie and her significant other have three children, and a chocolate lab. They spend as much time outside as they can, including camping at the lake in the summer, and mushrooming in the spring. Mattie also enjoys gardening, reading, preserving food, thrifting, crocheting, cooking, and traveling.
Medical Interests
As a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health, Mattie Ellenson’s focuses included well woman care, sexual health, menopause symptom management, and prenatal/postpartum care in collaboration with labor and delivery providers. She has a particular interest in rural health and was the recipient of the Minnesota Rural Health Association (MRHA) Emerging Rural Health Leader Aware for 2023/24.
