Medical Interests
As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Mitch Fritz’s practice will be integrated into primary care and the sleep medicine settings. Within primary care, he provides behavioral health services, collaborating closely with primary care providers to support patients’ mental and physical health. Serving patients across the lifespan, he offers brief, evidence-based interventions for problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, sleep, chronic illness management, and lifestyle changes. Dr. Fritz’s role emphasizes accessibility, prevention, and early intervention to improve and support patient well-being.
He also specializes in the assessment and treatment of sleep disorders such as insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and other behavioral sleep challenges. Using evidence-based, non-medication approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), Dr. Fritz helps patients of all ages improve their sleep quality and overall functioning. He recognizes the value of sleep in optimizing physical health, mental health, and daily performance. He is in the process of completing his national boards in Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
