Dr. Carlson is married to her husband, Nick and they enjoy golfing, fishing, and hanging out with their extended family in the area. She also enjoys reading, watching movies, and walking.
Medical Interests
As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Paige Carlson has an interest in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, particularly in rural and underserved communities. She values the unique challenges and opportunities of rural medicine, including forming long-term relationships with patients and addressing a wide range of clinical needs which includes transitions of care, chronic disease management, and preventative health. As a former Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP) student at Lakewood, Dr. Carlson is also passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students.
