Behavioral Health Services at Lakewood Health System

Our clinical behavioral health team provides comprehensive care for a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns. Services include evaluation and diagnosis, treatment planning, therapy, psychiatric services, and medication management. Our goal is to provide accessible, patient-centered care that supports mental health, healthy coping strategies, stronger relationships, and overall well-being.

Because everyone's journey is different, treatment is tailored to each individual's needs and may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. Our team also works closely with primary care providers, specialists, community resources, and other behavioral health services to coordinate care and connect patients with additional support when needed.

Behavioral health services are part of our primary care approach, making it easier for patients to access support for their mental and emotional well-being. Primary care providers and behavioral health professionals work together to identify concerns, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate services that meet each patient's unique needs.

Services may include behavioral health screening and assessment, brief interventions and counseling, treatment planning, care coordination, and connection to community and specialty resources.

Lakewood also provides behavioral health consultation services for nursing home residents, including psychiatric assessment and evaluation, medication evaluation and management, and individualized behavioral health support.
